Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between Pas Kecil, Pas Besar, and Surat Laut?

It depends on vessel size. Pas Kecil is for vessels < 7 GT, Pas Besar for vessels ≥ 7 GT, and Surat Laut for vessels > 175 GT. All three are nationality certificates declaring the vessel as Indonesian-flagged.

My Grosse Akta is lost — can it be reissued?

Yes. We help process the replacement of a lost or damaged Grosse Akta, including the court order and reissuance at KSOP.

How long does a Measurement Certificate take?

Once documents are complete and measurement is done, the Measurement Certificate can be issued relatively quickly. Total time depends on surveyor scheduling and your vessel's location.

Information is general. Actual document requirements depend on vessel type, GT, operating area, and current regulations.
