What vessel documents am I required to have?

What's the difference between commercial and fishing vessel processing?

Commercial vessels fall entirely under the Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub) and require SIUPAL plus safety and MARPOL certification. Fishing vessels are more complex because they fall under two ministries — Kemenhub for nationality aspects (Measurement Certificate, Grosse Akta, Pas Besar), and KKP for operational permits (SIUP, SIPI, SKKP, SLO). Yes, we are familiar with and actively work on OSS-RBA, SILAT (KKP), SIMKAPEL (Kemenhub), Inaportnet, and TemanSPB. All permits now processed digitally by the government can be navigated and processed with our assistance.

It depends on the document type and completeness of initial requirements. The digital Pas Kecil can be done in 1–2 days. Safety certifications requiring vessel physical inspection typically take 2–4 weeks. SIUPAL and SIUP may take longer depending on capital and company document completeness. We always provide realistic time estimates at the start of consultation.

Do I need to come to the Nautinix office or government agencies in person?

Not required for all stages. Many processes can now be done online through government systems. However, physical vessel inspections (such as measurement, BKI survey, or SKKP) or signing certain documents may require physical presence. We'll inform you well in advance and help coordinate.
