Who we are

The nautinix.com website and the Nautinix services are operated by PT Delvonix Global Indonesia (“we”, “us”), based in Central Jakarta. Our full address is listed in the contact box at the end of this page.

For the personal data described in this policy, we act as the Personal Data Controller within the meaning of Indonesian Law No. 27 of 2022 on Personal Data Protection (the PDP Law). Questions and requests about personal data can be sent to info@nautinix.com.

Data we collect

We only collect the data we need to reply to you, deliver our services and run this website:

  • Contact form: your name, company name (optional), phone number, email address, vessel type and the message you write.
  • WhatsApp, phone and email: your phone number or email address, the name you use, and the content of the conversation and any files you send us.
  • Service documents: if you engage us, the data in the documents you hand over for processing, such as the identity of the vessel owner or company officers, vessel data, company documents and crew data.
  • Analytics data: pages viewed, traffic source, approximate location (country or city), device and browser type, clicks on WhatsApp, phone or email links, form submissions (without the form content) and page speed metrics. This data is linked to analytics cookies only if you consent; if you reject or have not chosen yet, Google only receives cookieless signals (see section 4).
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, requested pages and access times, which may be recorded in our hosting provider’s server logs for security and operational purposes.

This website does not ask for specific (sensitive) personal data such as health or biometric data. If a service requires documents that contain such data, for example a seafarer’s medical certificate for crew documentation, we process it only as far as that service requires.

Cookies, local storage and Google Analytics

On your first visit you see a cookie banner where you can accept or reject analytics. Before you choose, and if you reject, Google Analytics runs in Consent Mode with storage permissions denied: no analytics cookies are set, and Google can only receive the basic cookieless signals that Consent Mode allows.

This website uses the following storage:

  • nautinix_consent (browser local storage): remembers your choice, granted or denied, so the banner does not appear again. It stays on your device until you clear the site data.
  • _ga and _ga_* (Google Analytics cookies): set only if you accept. They distinguish visitors and sessions with a random identifier, not your name. Google’s default lifetime is up to 2 years.
  • NEXT_LOCALE (functional cookie): remembers the language you picked so the site opens in that language, for up to about 1 year.

To change or withdraw your consent, click “Cookie settings” at the bottom of any page; the banner appears again and Google Analytics is switched off until you choose again. You can also clear the site data for nautinix.com (cookies and local storage) or block cookies in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on provided by Google.

Analytics data is processed by Google under Google’s privacy policy and kept for the retention period we have set in Google Analytics.

Who may receive your data

We share personal data only as far as needed for the purposes above, with:

  • Resend, the email delivery service that forwards contact form submissions to our inbox.
  • Google (Google Analytics), for visit measurement. Analytics cookies are used only after you give consent; before that, or if you reject, Google only receives cookieless signals (see section 4).
  • WhatsApp (Meta), if you contact us on WhatsApp. Those conversations are also subject to WhatsApp’s own terms and privacy policy.
  • The hosting, infrastructure and email providers we use to run the website and communicate with you.
  • Government agencies and related bodies, such as the Ministry of Transportation and its field offices (for example the Harbour Master), the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries, or a classification society, only as far as needed to process the documents you request.
  • Other authorities, where required by law or a court order.

Some of these providers may process data on servers outside Indonesia. We carry out such transfers with due regard to the PDP Law’s rules on transferring personal data outside the jurisdiction of the Republic of Indonesia.

Links to third-party services such as WhatsApp or Google Maps are governed by those services’ own privacy policies.

How long we keep data

We keep personal data only for as long as its purpose requires:

  • Contact form messages, emails and WhatsApp conversations: as long as needed to answer and follow up on your request. If no engagement follows, we delete them once they are no longer needed or when you ask us to.
  • Service data and documents: for the duration of the engagement and afterwards for as long as the law requires, for example for administrative and tax records.
  • Google Analytics data: for the retention period set in Google Analytics, after which Google deletes it automatically.
  • Your cookie choice (nautinix_consent): on your device until you clear it.

When the retention period ends, data is deleted or destroyed, or anonymised so that it can no longer identify you.

Your rights as a data subject

Under the PDP Law, you have the right to:

  • be informed of our identity and of the purposes and legal basis of processing your personal data;
  • access your personal data and obtain a copy of it;
  • complete, update or correct inaccurate data;
  • end the processing and request deletion or destruction of your personal data;
  • withdraw consent you have given, including consent to analytics;
  • delay or restrict processing in proportion to its purpose;
  • obtain your personal data in a commonly used format, or have it sent to another controller;
  • sue for and receive compensation for violations in the processing of your personal data, in accordance with the law.

Send your request to info@nautinix.com with the subject “Personal Data Request”. We may ask for additional information to verify your identity before acting on it, and we will respond within the period required by law. Certain rights may be limited in cases provided for by law.

Data security

This website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Access to client messages and documents is limited to staff who need it to handle your request, and we apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to prevent unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration or deletion.

No system is entirely risk-free. If a personal data protection failure affects you, we will notify you and the competent authority in accordance with the PDP Law.

Children’s data

Our website and services are intended for adult vessel owners, companies and maritime professionals. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal data through this website. If you believe a child’s data has been sent to us, please contact us so we can delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the way we process data or the applicable regulations change. The date of the latest update is shown at the top of this page, and we will announce significant changes on this website.

For questions, requests to exercise your rights or complaints about how we process personal data, contact us at info@nautinix.com or through the details below. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the personal data protection authority provided for in the PDP Law.
